IPL 2018 Auction: Rajiv Shukla Confident Of People Buying Chris Gayle

The opening day of the 2018 IPL auction saw some of the big names in cricket remain unsold. The likes of Chris Gayle, Joe Root and Hashim Amla among others failed to attract any bidders for the 11 season of the cash-rich league. However, chairman of the IPL Rajiv Shukla said that franchises may buy the players based on their base price on the second day of the auction.
